Your doctor's office is somewhere that should be a safe space. Never once during my visits with Dr. Ramirez have I ever felt anything otherwise. She is one of the first doctors to listen to everything I have to say without judgement. While offering great suggestions, she will also take the patients concerns or ideas into account before putting forth a treatment plan. And if something doesn't work, she never gives up on trying to find the best possible fit and outcome. With so many choices in the DFW area, I really feel like I lucked out.

Meaningful. Oftentimes I've felt unheard therefore, uncared for. Whether Dr. Ashitay follows through our "plan of care" or not, she's already done enough. Her listening skills are superb. She seems to understand then act opposed to reacting to hurry you along. I honestly feel better and am hopeful that my current condition is only temporary. I will get better.

Dr. Ashitey is very thorough, relatable and has excellent bedside manner. It never feels like she is rushing through the visit. She educates her patients on options, asking and answering questions with care and thought to ensure our needs are met. She works through the plan of care with me and doesn't just dictate her thoughts or orders. She is also very conscious about providing high quality, affordable healthcare and will assist with finding alternatives as needed for medications, treatments, etc. She is also quite fashionable, which is icing on the cake. The practice itself is always on the leading edge of technology and advancements in wellness and medical care. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Ashitey, Dr. Dharma and the Southwest Family Medicine Center to others.
