What’s new? Introducing Remote Patient Monitoring Through Athelas

Southwest Family Medicine Associates partnered with a company called Athelas. The Athelas program will provide you with tools to monitor your blood pressure, glucose, and weight which will be reported back to your provider. The results will be used to ensure that your course of treatment is on track, and not causing any unforeseen side effects. Athelas will reach out to patients who are candidates, will ship the devices, train on how to use them and remind via text to test monthly.
